About NUSIS

National University of Singapore Invitational Shoot (NUSIS) is an annual event organised by the NUS Air Weapons Club. It aims to provide competition exposure to novice shooters, and a stage to discover budding shooting talents, hence our slogan "Gateway to professional shooting".

This 9-year-old event has progressed from a small shooting event, primarily targeting the student body, to a national event in which shooting clubs from educational, governmental, and private institutions come together to compete.

NUSIS offers Schools Category and Open Category events in both Rifle and Pistol, Men and Women. Top 3 individuals in each Event will be awarded trophies and top 3 teams in each Event will be awarded medals. 2 Challenge Shields will be awarded to the top Rifle organisation and Pistol organisation in the Schools Category event, and another Challenge Shield will be awarded to the top organisation in the Open Category event.

About NUSIS Committee

The NUSIS committee members are selected from interested members of the NUS Air Weapons Club during the end-of-year semester break. The selection panel consists of past NUSIS committee members, and the selection process is based on individual interviews.
